Simon Cowell has never hidden the fact he has botox, now he reveals more revelations about his beauty routine.
“I’m a sucker for reading about something out there and believing it will work" Simon told The Mirror.
“Once in LA, years ago, I met this girl who would wrap me up in cling film and then tin foil, after covering me in oils.
“It was meant to be detoxing. She then put me in this tube in my house, locked me into it for an hour, and told me what she liked or didn’t like on the show.
“And because she was half-deaf, she was literally screaming at me. After about two months I realised, this is actually torture. That was crazy.”
Simon now accepts he got a little carried away with trying everything to look youthfull “Hopefully I look better now – I probably did have a little too much Botox a couple of years ago, because everyone on TV has it."
"Now I have facials, but nothing too extravagant at the moment. I have a girl who comes here and does a great face massage – it’s very relaxing.”
He does however admit to using other methods to keep the wrinkles at bay. Including regular vitamin injections – a cocktail of B12, vitamin C and magnesium – given through a drip he is hooked up to for half an hour by a nurse who visits his home and once tried a treatment using sheeps placenta. “I also had a sheep placenta facial once, which was quite out there."
Perhaps the weirdest of all is the one Sinitta recommended Simon explains: "Sinitta recommended I try another detoxifying machine, and this thing turned up in my bedroom and it was like something out of Dr Who. “It was like a spaceship had landed in my bedroom.
“This guy turns up and locks me in it, and then spends the next 90 minutes pitching TV shows.”
But he also still uses more traditional routines, and says he does “several hundred” push-ups a day to boost his fitness.
He added: “I work out three or four times a week, I have Botox, take tons of vitamins and vitamin infusions – if you believe that these things work, you will feel better.”
Stick to the work outs and facials Simon, you look great for a man in his 50's.
