CHARITIES
Some of the charities Simon is a devoted supporter of include the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices (Vice President) as well as being patron of Together For Short Lives, The Katie Piper Foundation and the Linda Blair Sacred Heart Foundation. Simon is also an Ambassador for Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Association for Children’s Hospices, Dr Brandon Rogers Memorial Fund, Against Breast Cancer, The Health Lottery, Save The Children, Comic Relief, Battersea Dogs Home, RSPCA, The K9 Angels, PETA, Hope Sanctuary Barbados, and Help For Heroes. He has also been awarded Variety International’s Humanitarian Award for his charitable work.
CHILDREN'S HOSPICES UK
Simon has long been a supporter of The Children's Hospices. In October 2009 he was announced as Patron of Children's Hospices, now known as Together For Short Lives.
Simon Cowell was appointed Vice President of Shooting Star Chase in May 2015 and has been supporting the charity since 2003. Simon makes regular visits to both hospices and enjoys time chatting with the children and young people. Every year, Simon kindly hosts a special Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester to raise funds for the charity.
THE KATIE PIPER FOUNDATION
Simon contacted Katie after seeing a television program featuring the story of her recovery from an acid attack. He offered his help and became Patron to Katie's Charity.
Simon attends and supports Katies annual fundraising ball as guest of honour each year.
BATTERSEA DOGS HOME
Simon often attends The Annual Battersea Dogs Home Ball where he will give a speech and support their fundraising auction.
THE RSPCA
Both Simon Cowell and his late Mum Julie supported the RSPCA.
Simon used to judge at the Brighton fund raising days. Julie was always a prominent figure on their annual fun day.

GOSH - GREAT ORMOND STREET CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
Simon through X Factor has supported GOSH, the finalists recorded a charity record which reached the coverted No 1 spot in the charts raising a great deal of money for the charity.
