This weekend the final 24 will be live in The X Factor studio in London to discover if they have done enough to make it past the final hurdle with their Judges' Houses performance and secure an all-important spot in the live shows.
With Olly and Caroline hosting proceedings, each judge and their final 6 contestants will take to the stage - Simon and the Overs, Cheryl and the Groups, Nick and the Boys and Rita and the Girls - to learn their fate in front of a studio audience and their friends and family.
Earlier in the month the contestants all travelled to locations around the world to perform for their judges and their guest judge, hoping to impress enough to make it through to the final 12.

Simon took the Overs to the south of France and was aided by One Direction heartthrob and X Factor alumni Louis Tomlinson;
Cheryl took the Groups to Rome and was joined by one of the hottest female singers of the moment, Jess Glynne;
Rita went to Los Angeles with the Girls and was helped by US sensation Meghan Trainor; and Nick took the Boys to the Cotswolds along with music super- producer Mark Ronson.
After watching everyone in their category's performances, each judge will then have to make the decision on which final 3 contestants they want to join them in the live shows. The audience at home will be able to put forward their opinions in the X Factor app’s Fifth Judge area.
As each category is complete and the judges’ decisions revealed, the lucky final 12 contestants that are going through to live shows will be unveiled as they get ready to compete for the chance to win a life changing record contract.
