Louis is expecting his first child with Briana Jungwirth next year and Simon Cowell wants to be its godfather saying would be happy to have lots of involvement in the child's life.
Asked if he would like to be the baby's godfather Simon said: "If he asks, I'll do it in a heartbeat. I haven't formally been asked yet, but if he asks me it would be my pleasure."
A source told Hollywood Life “Louis has made his decision and it’s 100 per cent Simon. He wants Simon to be his child’s godfather. Simon has had such an influence on him and he says Simon is a brilliant person and a brilliant father."
Simon has been so supportive of Louis ever since the news broke of the baby. He has made it clear that he is there for Louis if he has any questions or concerns about fatherhood."
