Simon Cowell and David Walliams today helped launch the search for the nation’s unsung heroes.
The pair joined forces to urge everyone to think about people they know who deserve a Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Award, in partnership with TSB.
Simon said: “Britain’s got talent and it has also got many, many unsung heroes.
“The search is now on to find someone special for this year’s Pride of Britain awards.
“Don’t be shy, nominate them now.”
And David joked: “You can’t nominate yourself Simon.”
Pride of Britain celebrates the extraordinary achievements of people from all walks of life, of all ages, and from all over the country.
The winners, chosen by a panel from a shortlist compiled by the Pride of Britain research team, will receive their awards at a glittering ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House, screened on ITV on Tuesday 1st November.
