Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman attended the K9 Friends dog rescue in Barbados to help raise funds for the chariity.
Arriving at the auction, held at the island's picturesque Mahogany Ridge Simon wore his usual unbuttoned white shirt, while Lauren stood out in a vibrant yellow top.
The event which was held by British talent manager Shalit and radio and TV presenter Lizzie Cundy offered a range of items for auction - with all proceeds going to the charity.
And it seems that one particular item caught Simon's eye, as he bid $4,500 for Paul McKenna to hypnotize Lauren - in order to stop her shopping habit.
But while he may have spent big on his novelty prize, Simon made sure to raise even more money for the charity by auctioning off a Britain's Got Talent item - including a date with judge Amanda Holden - which ended up going for $10,000.
