Rak-Su were crowned the winner of The X Factor 2017 tonight [3.12] and have released their winner’s duet Dimelo with Wyclef Jean and Naughty Boy, as first performed on Saturday night’s final. All proceeds from the track are in aid of children’s hospice charities, Together for Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase.
Tonight’s performance of Dimelo marks the end of a phenomenal 14th series of The X Factor, which has showcased some exceptional talent.
One of the highlights of this year have been the incredible original songs performed on the show taking the iTunes charts by storm. This includes this year’s winner Rak-Su, who are the first ever X Factor act to have had three No.1 singles on iTunes whilst being on the show, including original tracks Mona Lisa and I’m Feeling You.
The winner’s duet is now available to download and stream
It is The X Factor UK’s 10th charity release. Simco Limited will donate 100% of its profits from the sale of each download and in respect of all audio streaming of the single.
The Chancellor has also agreed to donate the VAT, in each case to be shared equally by Together For Short Lives, registered charity no. 1144022 and Shooting Star Chase, registered charity no. 1042495. This donation will be at least 20p plus VAT for each download sold in the UK.
