Has Simon Cowell lined Cheryl up to help him at his judges house this year?
ITV executives are said to want her One Direction boyfriend Liam Payne to join her.
According to XF sources both Simon and ITV bosses believe Cheryl is the right person to help him pick the finalists from his Girls category.
The Star on Sunday report an X Factor source told them “Both Cowell and ITV bosses are in agreement Cheryl would be the perfect person to help him pick his finalists. “Everyone knows how well Cheryl and Simon work together on and off screen.
Last Year Louis Tomlinson proved a popular choice to help Simon
“Cheryl also has a proven track history mentoring the girls as a judge, she’s still incredibly popular with fans and it would keep her within the X Factor family despite her quitting. “Not only that but Simon wants to win this year and he really respects Cheryl’s opinion when it comes to finding a star.
“Simon also has a lot of respect for Liam, who many saw as the business brain behind One Direction.
“While signing both Cheryl and Liam together would obviously be a ratings stunt – it doesn’t take away from the fact that they are both hugely qualified to help.”
X Factor officials say the line-up for judges houses are yet to be confirmed.
The source also added “Simon is feeling really upbeat about this year’s X Factor. “He’s thrilled to have Dermot O’Leary back presenting.
He’s also delighted with his panel of Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger.“Getting Cheryl to help him at Judges Houses would be the icing on the cake.”
We feel it is unlikely Liam will join Cheryl, but could see Simon wanting Cheryl to join him to help choose his contestants for the live shows.
