Caroline Flack to step down as co-host on The X Factor
Caroline Flack has confirmed that she has decided to leave her role as co-host on The X Factor.
Speaking about her decision Caroline said: “I have had a brilliant time working on The X Factor over the last few years, and hosting the main show was just fantastic, I made some amazing friends. I'm looking forward to carrying on working with the team over at ITV.”
As well as hosting The X Factor, Caroline previously hosted The Xtra Factor for three years from 2011 until 2013.
The news comes as Olly Murs has also confirmed that he will leave the show to focus on his music this year. Read Olly's and Simon's Statement

Details for the new series of The X Factor are still being discussed and will be announced in due course.
