Ben Haenow has officially signed with Syco Music Today and will begin recording his debut album later this month.
The winner of The X Factor 2014, will go into the studio to begin recording his debut album later this month. It is then due to be released later this year.
Ben – who has a double celebration as it is also his 30th birthday today [06/01] - says: “To say I'm excited to become part of the Syco family is an understatement.”
Ben– who was mentored by Simon Cowell on The X Factor – added: “Getting to work with Simon during the show was incredible. He is a great guy and amazing mentor - and really helped me as an artist.
“I can't wait to start working with him and the team again and putting together a great record for 2015.”
Simon Cowell says: “Ben is a great talent – and a great guy. I’m thrilled he is now officially part of the Syco family and can’t wait to get working with him on his first album. And happy birthday Ben!”

Ben – who is celebrating his 30th birthday today - is the most popular star to have emerged from the show, with the singer triumphing after an astonishing 42 million votes were cast during the series.
His debut single Something I Need then became the quickest selling debut single of 2014 - with sales of more than 214,000 in it’s first week alone - as it took the prestigious Christmas No1 slot.
More than 10 million television viewers watched Ben – from Croydon, South London - emerge victorious in the final of The X Factor. Ben will next star in the 26-date nationwide X Factor tour, which begins in Belfast next month.
