Simon Cowell is looking fit and well as he gets into his Rolls Royce in Malibu. After spending two months in a wet and cold London the sunshine of Malibu must be welcome.
Simon upped his fitness regime while in London, walking 40 miles a week to help strengthen his back after the accident.
Simon spoke about breaking his back in a cycle accident last year, saying: “It could have been a lot worse. When I saw the X-ray, I really nearly could have smashed my spine to pieces, so I literally wouldn’t have been able to walk.”
He recalled “I knew I’d broken my back the minute I landed,” saying, “it was really, really kind of sudden and it hurt.”
“I was thinking, ‘I’ve got to get back into the house because I can’t lie there’… and made myself kind of get carried into my bedroom, which is right there at the beginning of the house, and I’m lying there and I’m kind of passing out… It was surreal.”
Simon explained, “You’re not supposed to move,” but that wasn’t his thought process at the time.
With America's Got Talent auditions around the corner, Simon will be joining Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara later this month to judge the hugely popular show..
