Simon Cowell donates his advertisement fee to help children's charity

Simon Cowell donates his £1m fee from advertisements he filmed earlier in the year to a children's charity.

Simon has been appearing in Marks & Spencer adverts during the Britain's Got Talent commercial breaks.

Simon has reportedly asked M&S to support Together For Short Lives over the next year with his fee.

The children's charity helps families and children with a life-limiting or threatening condition and is losing half of its annual income due to Covid-19.

With fundraising events cancelled and their charity shops closed the charity is suffering during this pandemic..

A source told the newspapers 'Simon is delighted that Marks and Spencer and he were able to share a vision of how to support such a special charity that does such important work.'

'Simon was delighted when they agreed. It's wonderful news for the charity.'

Simon has already pledged £500k of his own money to help Shooting Stars Children's Charity who are also struggling during the lockdown
