This year X Factor has added a twist to bootcamp by introducing a 'wall of songs'.
The contestants are faced with a wall covered in bits of paper with song titles written on them. The singers, who will be held back until the appropriate time, must run and try and grab a song they want to sing.
Insiders called it “Carnage”, with people “obviously fighting” for the song they wanted to sing.
The purpose appears to be is to sort them into groups for the traditional Line Challenge. There will be no solo round at bootcamp this year, one song in a group where Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne will make their decison on who goes through to the six chair challenge.
The X Factor continues on Saturday at 8pm with the final auditions. Bootcamp screens in a bumper episode on Sunday starting at 7.30pm
