Cheryl has reportedly ruled herself out of X Factor to concentrate on Simon Cowell's other show The Greatest Dancer after realising she cannot do both.
A source told The Sun: “Cheryl loves X Factor but she enjoyed filming the pilot for new BBC programme and loved it.
“The show feels fresh and because it’s a new format she is excited by that. Dance has always been a passion for her so it feels right for her.”
Louis Walsh recently hit back at rumours that he and Sharon Osbourne were set to be axed from the panel.
Louis contacted Simon Cowell who is on holiday in Mexico, telling Simon his contract is watertight and he can't sack him.
Simon has set his sights on Rita Ora to take over from Nicole Scherzinger who was dropped earlier in the week. Whether Rita could commit to the show is in doubt due to her up and coming album release and tours.
Simon is also said to be considering Latino superstar Gloria Estefan according to The Sun newspaper. Gloria would be a surprise signing, although Simon is said to be a huge fan.
