The Life in a Day

Simon Cowell and Syco Entertainment announce announce perhaps their most exciting movie to date.

Simon Cowell and  his company Syco Entertainment are joining forces with IM Global to produce 'A Life in the Day' based on the life of Beatles manager Brian Epstein.

The script for 'A Life in the Day' a play on the Beatles iconic song 'A Day in the Life' has been written by Tony Gittelson.

The biopic tells the true story of Epstein who, while selling records out of his father's appliance store in Liverpool, discovered a band he swore he could make, 'Bigger then Elvis!'.

That band was, of course, The Beatles. Though he had no prior experience, Epstein convinced the band to make him their manager and sparked a music, and cultural, revolution.

Simon Cowell issued the following statement: “I have always been fascinated by Brian Epstein – and his story. He played a huge role in the Beatles’ incredible success – and, I believe, remains the most talented manager ever. Yet his story has never been fully told. Also, like everyone across the world, I have so much respect for the Beatles and their music. So to be given the chance to be involved in this project was one I just could not pass up.”

I Can't Sing! - The X Factor Musical

I CAN’T SING! is the hilarious new musical which goes behind the microphones and under the judges’ desks at the biggest show on earth and reveals the (not necessarily accurate) tale of heartache and laughter which keeps millions of us glued to The X Factor, week-after-week.

Written by BAFTA Award-winning comedian HARRY HILL (3 BAFTAs, 7 British Comedy Awards and a Golden Rose of Montreux) with music and lyrics by STEVE BROWN (Spend, Spend, Spend, Spitting Image, Laura Mvula, TV Burp), I CAN’T SING! is co-produced by the patron saint of fame himself, MR SIMON COWELL.

Irreverent, anarchic and yet strangely touching, this spectacular musical comedy features a host of new and deliriously funny songs that will delight both fans and sceptics of The X Factor in equal measure.

Syco Entertainment has partnered with Stage Entertainment to create a comedy musical based on “The X Factor” called ‘I Can’t Sing.' Opening on March 26, 2014 in London, the musical is written by comedian Harry Hill, music by Steve Brown, and directed by double Olivier award winner Sean Foley.

Unfortunately the musical closed in April due to poor ticket sales.
