Children's Hospices UK

Simon has long been a supporter of The Children's Hospices. In October 2009 he was announced Patron of Children's Hospices, now known as Together For Short Lives. Simon often visits The Chase hospice in Guildford and invites the children along to the X Factor each year.

Simon often attends The Annual Battersea Dogs Home Ball where he will give a speech and support their fundraising auction.

The RSPCA

Both Simon and his Mum Julie support the RSPCA. He used to judge at their fund raising days.

Simon is Honorary President to the Bridlington branch and Patron of the Brighton branch, where Julie is also a supporter.

Against Breast Cancer

Simon's Mum Julie is a Honorary Patron of the Charity after successfully fighting the disease herself. Simon fully supports the charity and attends many functions.

Hope Dog Sanctuary Barbados

The Hope Dog Sanctuary in Barbados,  simon cowell, http:www.justsimoncowell.com

One of Simon's lesser known charities, but one he has supported for many years. Simon makes an annual visit here when he visits Barbados over his Christmas holiday.

GOSH - Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital

Simon through X Factor has supported both these charities with the Finalists making a charity record. Both have reached the coverted No 1 spot in the charts raising funds for the charities.

Peta

Simon has appeared in a number of advertisments for Peta. One magazine advertisment for an anti fur campaign, the other a video where he stresses the imprtance of not leaving dogs in cars during hot weather.
